TabletKiosk® Releases New Thin and Light Rugged Tablet PCs

Torrance, CA, February 12, 2015 —

TabletKiosk, one of the original Tablet PC providers for business, today announced the release of two new thin and light, rugged dual OS Windows® 8.1 and Android 4.4 Tablet PCs. The new AerGO TufTabs (pronounced Air-Go) are rated IP65 for enhanced protection against dust, dirt and water and are MIL-STD-810G compliant to protect against bumps, drops, vibration and extreme temperature.

The AerGO Tuftab® A8 is an 8.3-inch tablet that is under 0.5 inches thick and weighs less than 1.2 lbs. The AerGO TufTab® A10 is a 10.1 inch tablet that also measures less than 0.5 inches thick and weighs in at just under 1.7 lbs. They feature quad-core Intel® Atom™ processors, 10-finger multi-touch displays with Gorilla Glass® 3 for scratch and impact resistance, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and up to 12 hours of battery life.

In addition to being MIL-SPEC and IP65 rated, the AerGO TufTabs are available with a full ecosystem of accessories including magnetic stripe reader (MSR) reader, SmartCard reader, bumpcase (which extends the drop protection to just under 6 feet), and docking station with added I/O and power pass-thru.
